Pattern & Sample Development
Pattern and sample development charged on a project basis and calculated based on the individual design and requirements.

You will receive a manually drafted or digitised pattern and sample based on your garment design ready to take to your supplier/manufacturer for production.
Order of Operations
Initial Pattern Draft - A first draft pattern for your design in the required sample size
Toile (Prototype) - A basic mock-up made in calico/plain fabric to check the fit and overall design.
Finishings, trims, style lines are not applied at this stage unless absolutely necessary. Pockets and button placements are drawn in for visual reference. (fabric and any other components to be provided by the client or can be supplied at an additional cost)Review - The toile will be sent to you for review and feedback. Alternatively, fittings in person can be arranged at an additional cost
Revisions - 1 revision within reason. Any amendments will be made to both the pattern and toile before the sampling/finished garment stage.
Sample/Finished Garment - made using the final fabric intended for your design. (fabric and any other components to be provided by the client or can be supplied at an additional cost), fully finished with all the required stitch details, pockets, hems, trims, and linings.
Final Pattern - The final pattern (either the original draft with any corrections or a clean copy) is manually drafted onto plain white pattern paper to include all relevant information including seam allowances, grainlines, style name/number, size. If you require a digitised pattern and grading of sizes, this will be charged additionally.
CLIENT REQUIREMENTS
Please provide a basic description of your design, a sketch or visual reference.
If you have a tech pack, this is useful but not mandatory
If you have specific fabrics, labels, trims or other materials that you would like to be used in your finished sample/garment, please have these ready to send to me before starting the project to avoid any delays.
