(i) Our Contract
When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement confirming receipt of your order either by e-mail, phone call, text message or other messaging services: this acknowledgement will not constitute acceptance of your order. A project will only commence where a clear indication to proceed has been made from both parties whether the indication is made verbally or in written form. A contract between us will be formed on commencement of your project and the client is obligated to fulfil the payment terms.

(ii) Payment
When your order has been accepted, an invoice will be sent to you either before, during or after the work commences or is completed depending on the individual project.

Payment can be made via bank transfer or an alternative method if one has be provided to you in the invoice.
The receiving amount must be equivalent to the outstanding balance - Clients are responsible for all transfer fees including sender and recipient bank charges, intermediary bank charges and currency conversion fees.
We cannot schedule orders, reserve or purchase supplies until a deposit or full payment has been made therefore clients are required to pay a minimum 50% deposit (or the 1st instalment if a payment plan has been offered to you) prior to starting any work, unless agreed otherwise. The remaining amount due (if any) shall be paid as stipulated in your invoice or payment plan, otherwise upon collection or prior to delivery of your project.

Any invoices that have been issued after the work is complete, you are required to fulfil payment within 14 calendar days of the invoice issue date.

If your invoice becomes overdue, we will send you a reminder for the overdue payment. If the invoice remains unpaid, a reminder invoice will be issued and the outstanding balance must be made within 14 calendar days of this reminder. Failure to clear the outstanding balance within 14 calendar days of the reminder invoice will incur an interest penalty of 20% per day from the date the reminder invoice became overdue. Any outstanding balance that remains unpaid for more than 30 days of this reminder will be referred to our debt collection solicitors and will result in further action.

Any issues regarding the invoice must be raised on receipt of the invoice and not on or after the payment due date.

We have the right to suspend all work, withhold your order & any associated files and materials, and retain full ownership of intellectual property of the work completed or uncompleted, until full payment is cleared. Where goods have been delivered and an outstanding balance remains unpaid, we have the right to enter the client’s premises to recover these goods. The client has a duty to safeguard these goods and is not permitted to sell, gift or dispose of the goods until full payment has been made.

(iii) Delivery
We will arrange a collection or delivery date once your order is complete. Bespoke items and garments to be fitted must be collected by the client in person. If for any reason you require a postal delivery, we will arrange this and a charge will apply. We use a reliable courier service to ensure a prompt and secure delivery and the price is calculated based on the weight, size, value of your parcel and location. Delivery costs will be provided in your quote or invoice and typically ranges from £4.95 - £16 for UK deliveries, £11 - £49 for international deliveries. For high volume orders, your shipment will be delivered in separate parcels with each incurring its own shipping cost. If you wish to use an alternative shipping method, please contact us prior to placing your order to make the appropriate arrangements. We are not responsible for any damage or loss during delivery. Please note some orders may be subject to import duties, taxes and other customs related charges. Buyers bear all responsibility for all extra charges incurred (if any). Please see our Delivery notice for further information.

Orders are typically produced on a first come first serve basis and will only proceed once a deposit or full payment has been received. Turnaround times will vary depending on the individual order taking into account payment & order dates, quantity and level of work. Supplementary work, complexity of work and material choices can significantly increase the length of time needed for production. We always try to work around client deadlines. As a guideline, our standard turnaround times are 3-6 weeks for individual items, 1-3 months for low volume orders and 3-6 months for high volume orders. For urgent orders, turnaround time may be negotiated upon request. Lead times provided in the pricelist are based on repeat orders of the same material, size and style - times are estimates only and represented in working days. Please allow more time for combined orders of different sizing and materials, as well as contingency time in the case of amendments and any other unforeseen delays. Additional time will be needed to order supplies (if applicable) and the delivery or collection of your order. Please note turnaround times are likely to be longer during busy periods and it is recommended to book your production slot in advance.

(v) Returns
Cancellations will only be accepted in the early stages of receiving your order and you may be issued a full refund. If however, supplies have already been purchased, you will be charged 50% of the sale price and refunded the remaining 50%. Once production has begun, your order shall proceed as normal and cannot be changed.
Due to the nature of a made to order service, we are unable to offer a refund for orders that are complete and delivery will proceed as normal. Refunds and cancellations will not be issued to orders with reduced/discounted rates once materials have been purchased. All items undergo quality check and are examined thoroughly before dispatch to ensure there are no faults and that all requirements of the orders are met. In the case of unsatisfactory service or you require
additional changes to meet your needs, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving the goods. We are happy to discuss this further and will make the necessary amendments subject to our discretion. As a reputable and trusted business committed to offering its customers high quality products, Isabel Wong recognises its obligation to ensure that suppliers are operating ethically.

We expect our suppliers to consistently provide an environment which protects their employees' health and safety and basic human rights.

All suppliers are expected to comply with their national employment laws and regulations with particular regard to:

  • Minimum age of employment

  • Freely chosen employment

  • Health and safety

  • Freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining

  • No discrimination

  • No harsh or inhumane treatment

  • Working hours

  • Rates of pay

  • Terms of employment

Isabel Wong will never knowingly source stock from countries which are in breach of the above principles. We also look to our suppliers to instil these principles when dealing with their own supplier base.

Because of the sometimes complex nature of our suppliers' supply chain, it is not always possible to monitor and control the conditions of each individual involved in the production of our products. However, as Isabel Wong continues to grow it recognises the importance of being proactive and doing everything within its power to support the rights of those involved in the manufacture of its goods.
